I have previously addressed my disdain for the obsession and over-saturation of the white Calvin Klein underwear shoots, yet here I am again shooting in white Calvin Klein underwear.

Is this Sigma lens something you are looking forward to add to your collection?
Read MoreWe, as people, have a tendency to interpret what we see from others and assume that our view is the truth. The old saying, "Perception is not reality", has since been forgotten. We praise the image of these celebrities, these idols that we have created to be beyond human but all we know of them, is the image they choose to deliver us. Even political figures and diplomats, we assume that because of their position, their actions should be perfection but that is never the case. When did we stop looking at each other as humans, for how long have we not seen each other as equal?
Read MoreBig shoutout to Calabash Tea & Tonic on 7th Street NW by Howard Theatre, here in DC. They are not paying me but I have to plug good, quality service and a collective of great vibes whenever I get the chance. The owner and employees are always showing love to their patrons, the patrons as a result are always showing love to each other and their Pandora playlists are ALWAYS on point. With a multi-generational herbalist from the Carribbean being in ownership, they do an amazing job at getting to the root of your energy for the day and prescribing an amazing tonic mixture that will get you recentered every time. I always host meetings and bring people by to experience just because spreading love is the most important law of nature, the one that we always forget. So when I get the chance to do so, even for free, I try my best. Stop by there, try a samosa or Vegan BLT along with an amazing tonic shot or hot cup of tea.

Read MoreWith the weather getting warmer (or fluctuating at least), it seems that the clear air of creativity has return. Many creatives have voiced their dealings with the clouded space of uninspired thoughts throughout this winter but we all seem to be emerging at once. Self-care, especially as a creative, is very important.
Read MoreWith the app market being heavily saturated with a mixture of productivity-based, service oriented applications that make our lives easier, it's hard to really stand out. Staking your claim in this industry is a hit or miss for a lot of companies and just as most start-ups, most fail almost immediately. There is something to be said about the ones that like froth, rise to be top of the grind.
Read MoreI recently got back into the hustle of shooting; started bumping the past 10 curren$y mixtapes of the past year, tuning into Nipsey and reworked my creative perspective to reflect a different topic. I have always had a great respect and appreciation for ad work, the art of selling product is so appealing. It takes understanding the psychology of a buyer to create adwork that forces consumers in and out of stores. From the 60s to the current evolution, I love every medium of it.
Read MoreFor far too long, women have been the underdog, the under-appreciated, misrepresented, "lesser" of the human race. A lot of my work deals with breaking stigma and uplifting the underdog; from nudity & marijuana, to Blacks & women, thus why the majority of my work features women of color.

Read MoreIn 2017, more than ever, human beings have been stepping into a place of comfort, not only in self-reliance but also in our own understanding of ourselves and how others perceive us. It is through this comfort that we find social independence, career freedom and body positivity rising to the forefront of culture. And this has become the tone set by our generation. We have an understanding that finding ones true self in life, allows us to better engage with each other.
Read MoreOutside of receiving some unfortunate news, taking a break from the "DMV" was a breath of fresh air. It has been years since I had been in the 757 area, 5 or 6 years since I was enrolled at ODU, and being back in the area drug up old memories that I had all but forgotten about. From the wedding (the fam's relative's remarriage) to the beach & diner breakfast in the morning to the Baby Shower & Maternity shoot the next day, it was definitely a weekend to remember.
Read MoreA couple months ago, I was listening to an Erykah Badu interview in which she referenced her creative block. And this is something that we all can relate to as creatives. Her advice for moving through it was to take in new content from a different medium, what she referred to as a "downloading period". And since then, I have been looking into different styles and more abstract means of seeking inspiration, constantly expanding my palette.
Read MoreToo often we as humans are too self-important; so arrogant to think that our ability to possess power makes us superior to another living being, whether another human or an animal.
Read MoreWhether your craft is tattooing, painting, yoga, bartending or any other "Martial Art", there will always be a community that talks and spreads words amongst each other. And as I have recently discovered, Photography is no different. We all move in the same circles, often trade (or take as some refer to it) clientele and subjects, see similar sights and unfortunately, get treated as interchangeable by the general public.
