Casually, Reezy
A couple months ago, I was listening to an Erykah Badu interview in which she referenced her creative block. And this is something that we all can relate to as creatives. Her advice for moving through it was to take in new content from a different medium, what she referred to as a "downloading period". And since then, I have been looking into different styles and more abstract means of seeking inspiration, constantly expanding my palette.
Shooting with Rea, gave me a fresh start. My intentions with this shoot was to capture a more interpersonal, relatable feeling. Trying to bring out so much more than a beautiful face but something that connected with everyone. Don't get me wrong, Rea is clearly beautiful but more than that she has a vibrant personality. This so something we rarely aim to showcase.
