Every Blue Moon

Maybe it’s because I’m an artist but there are days when the beauty of nature blows me away. Does that happen to anyone else? For example, on the night of the supermoon, I found myself gazing into space, in awe of just how vast our world is. The moon felt close but we are still so far away. We say space to describe the air up there but that is exactly what stands between us and other planets, space.

This feeling isn’t just every once in a while for me, it happens all the time. Watching a random cat on the corner, or seeing a rain storm barreling down the street wetting everything in its path, and most frequently when I travel, and see how we all are living the same existence all over the globe, to the point where it all begins to feel stimulated. But the through line of it all is how nature connects all of us and with it, we each have a constant point of relation.
