Kultura : A Journey for the Commonwealth

Last night, Commonwealth released their newest collaboration sneaker with Asics, the 'Kultura' Gel-Lyte V. Commonwealth has long been a staple in the DMV, having shops in both Norfolk, VA & this one in NW DC, but opening this newest shop in the Philippines, this collaboration served as a celebration to this major accomplishment. Check out the shoe and grab yours while they're still on shelves

 The thing I love most about this collaboration is the travel-inspired product shots. With the concept set in stone, finding ways to deliver a story but also capture the minimalistic essence of both brands was executed more than perfectly. Shoutout to Steve Tirona, a local photographer from the Philippines that captured these images, & Omar Quiambao, Commenwealth's creative director. The book is fire & the images of these shoes tell the perfect story.
