Project Semicolon; Suicide
As before mentioned with the last part of the series, the colder months tend to evoke darker emotions in people. With the visible sight of things dying (the trees and green life) and the cold killing off things as well, it makes sense why people feel more in these times. That is why we choose to release these images in relation to these feelings of hopelessness that some go through. Let's start the conversation of getting help. As living beings, it is our duty to uplift those that we can reach but beyond that as artists, we must use our voices to initiate those conversations for those who's voices are rarely heard.
This portion of the series focuses on suicide, an issue that plagues our generation. We can't be afraid to speak on these issues, we can't be afraid to have conversations about them because by doing that we are only keeping the issue buried which helps nobody.
