Legs & Latte's - Tryst
For this most recent Legs & Latte's feature, I made my way to Tryst in Adams Morgan where I met with Jazmine Brinkley to discuss art, music & life as a creative. Jazmine is a singer, songwriter, artist, fashion designer and overall cool person so the meet up was definitely a necessity.
Tryst is a coffee and tea bar right in the midst of Adams Morgan's lively strip of bars and finds a way to completely hold it's own. With good music playing, some on MacBooks and others lounging on couches with good book, the ambience is what you would hope for from a good coffee shop. Tryst definitely brings out a diverse crowd being that it is in Adams Morgan, an already diverse community in NW, DC, you never know who you might run into. And the best part is, Tryst actually makes good coffee and tea. We both had white mochas (hers paired with hazelnut syrup) and made sure we got every last drop in the cup.
If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, Tryst is the place. If you're looking for a place topic back and read a book, Tryst is the place. If you're looking for a place to just chill for a moment and get away from all the excitement that weekends at the Adams Morgan strip have to offer, you guessed it, Tryst is the place.
