Legs & Lattes - The Wydown
And we're back! Legs & Latte's is back with it's regularly scheduled programming. I know you've missed us. This week I made my way down to The Wydown Coffee Bar on 14th St NW where I shared vibes with the ever-talented, Aliana Grace Bailey.
From the moment you walk in the raised garage door, Wydown has a very welcoming ambiance. You can tell that the environment is slated as a quick stop for the movers and shakers of the city with people on their laptops as they munch on the delicious pastries that they offer. The tone of the coffee bar is set by the fun and energetic workers as they engage with their customers, creating relationships and establishing their spot in the rising of DC's eclectic culture. To top it off, the aroma of the coffee pairs well with the heavy soul impression that the music provides. If only I could count how many moments Aliana broke into Janet karaoke during our meeting, to later find out that the playlist being used was a Prince Pandora station. Overall, The Wydown is the Wydown. It has its own unique ambiance with it's own unique clientele fit perfectly on one of NorthWest's most popular streets.
