Shooter's Corner: My Favorite Ten Photos of the Year
RespectheShooter is a concept created years ago, long before I understood what I was doing as a photographer and before I could build the foundation I currently stand on. As I’ve mentioned a few times in past blog posts, storytelling, and creativity keep me interested in photography. If you have been following me for some time, then you have surely been witness to my affinity for sharing amazing work from amazing photographers, simply for the love of the craft. What started as a means of sharing work to inspire my friends, then turned into a way to connect people as well. As a result, many of you have told me how much you appreciate the work being shared whether for inspiration, awareness of what art people are creating worldwide, or a few other reasons. And thus, here we are today. I decided to use this platform to not only highlight great work from great creators but also as a way to showcase the seriousness with which I take the craft myself.
Think of this like my Sports Center Top 10, or Shooters Corner ( I just freestyled that as I was typing 🤔), the only difference being that these photos are listed in no particular order. This will be a place for me to share my thoughts on photos, photographers, and aesthetics that I enjoy. Tap in the comments to tell me which photos you agree with, disagree with, photos that blow your mind or underwhelm you. Let’s make this a place to exchange conversation on an art form, like a museum is some shit lol.
These are photos that speak to me in one way or another.
