Age isn't just a number....
In large, the Western society views age as synonymous with uselessness rather than wisdom and earned experience. There’s so much value in honoring the stories of our societal leaders and learning to advance culture forward. As I grow and reflect on my life to this point, I think I’ve been pretty good at learning lessons from watching those around me, not making the same mistakes and hopefully advancing thought and progress as I go. This is something it seems gets lost as time passes, value in the knowledge of those older than you.
I had the pleasure of working with @jackhowardcolor and capturing these images of him. His knowledge of style, of life, and of the journey it takes to know oneself is something I think needs to be shared more on platforms.
