Evolve or Die

Every 7, 11 & 18 years, we as life beings evolve in one way or another. Whether physically - moving from locations or out of situations, mentally - gaining & growing through knowledge and intellect, or metaphysically - in getting closer to accepting our place in this universe and stepping into the shoes we are meant to fill, each evolution cycle brings forth a sense of newness. Being that we are constantly shifting towards a new cycle, it is also easy to believe that we are constantly searching for new information, for new interpersonal connections and/or for new skills that will get us closer to this points. And I think whether consciously or sub-consciously, this is why creatives are always seeking to recreate themselves, daily.

For me, recreation is necessary. We are consistently recreating moments, like those random party nights where you end up with a gazillion videos on your phone, none of which you remember in the morning. We are consistently recreating feelings, like that time your heart skipped when you got lost in their eyes and found yourself staring into their soul. We are consistently recreating achievements, like when we create something we weren't necessarily in love with but everyone that saw it received it in an overwhelming fashion. It is this chase that keeps us engaged to the world around us.

I recently noticed that I am rarely satisfied, again, the chase for evolution is always pushing me to desire more. And not in a sense that I am unhappy, but in a sense that I have realized the path in which I am guided to walk and anything not adding to its progression must be shed or placed on pause. I am constantly adding new energies in attempt to be pulled to a higher level. It's funny that in this current space of moving towards my next cycle, that I have connected with Edna. She has an energy that seems to be seeking the same and this hunger drives her will to create at a high level. I will go into this topic deeper on next week's BAIT series but as a creator, seeking muses or catalysts for inspiration are another constant that drives our own evolutions. It is through this that I am again excited for what this summer will bring. Stay blessed & keep pushing towards evolution. Cause probably the most important law of nature, is that either you evolve and adapt with how the world is moving or you get left behind and die.
